I’m a digital product designer with a strong visual design background and many years of experience working for companies and organizations both big and small in pretty much every vertical — finance, life science, media/tech, and non-profits. I’ve spent time at global consulting firms like PwC; in-house product teams like Yahoo; and design agencies working with forward-thinking clients like the World Wildlife Fund as well as clients in emerging technologies like 10x Genomics and Bio-Rad Laboratories.
When I think about the future, I’m optimistic about a lot of the innovations we create. I believe in building things that better our society and create equal opportunities for everyone.
I stepped away from design work for a while to focus on motherhood, came back to it because it was calling me and found that I still love it after all this time. I don’t think a lot of people can say that about what they choose to call “work”, so I count myself as really lucky.
I’m a bay area native. When the laptop gets shut down, I enjoy getting outdoors as much as possible with my husband and kids. Being in nature helps me to reset; turn down the noise when my mind feels cluttered; and tune into the basics in life.
I am innately creative but rooted in a background study of economics, so I’m one of those outliers who is artsy and analytical at the same time. It’s the yin-yang relationship between my left and right brain.
I hope to never stop learning and growing. 🌱
